Sometimes, an individual has need of a physical surgeon to repair something (organ, muscle, bone, etc.) in the physical body that has an injury, or trauma of some sort which cannot be fixed without the intervention of a medical surgeon.
When physical surgery is unavoidable, it would be wise to have the surgery procedure done spiritually, in Lightbody, prior to the actual physical surgery. Why?
When the physical body is prepared for the surgical procedure, there is a greater chance for less complications and a quicker recovery period. 
Prior to having the actual surgery done by a medical doctor or surgeon, your etheric lightbody surgeon can re-set the blueprints, templates, and matrix codes to accept the physical impact and trauma of physical surgery.  
AFTER the surgery is completed, the etheric lightbody surgeon weaves together and re-seals the blueprints, templates & matrix codes that were disturbed by the trauma of physical surgery.  This allows for a smooth physical surgery, a quicker recovery period, less pain killers, and less complications.
